Guidelines for Immersion

My wife recently began a battle with breast cancer. She decided to start a blog to publicly journal her experience. It is therapeutic to herself, and she hopes that the material can be helpful to others.

So, I thought to myself, suppose I help her license her content under Creative Commons and provide her posts to Duolingo Immersion. Is that kind of material welcome here?

Hi kbrimington- Absolutely! It would be incredible to have your wife's work on Duolingo. Since she wrote it she owns the rights to it and the content can be uploaded for translation. Just go right to 'upload' in the immersion view to do so. Also, look for an email shortly. We have something for both of you from us at Duolingo. Thoughts sent your way!

Thank you, Kristine. That is kind. Delores likes the idea, as well, so I will get a few things in order and provide them soon.

Never give up. And if she does, be sure to stand up one more time than falling down ;-) It may be the toughest battle in her life - but she can be victorious. Never lose the ability to fight, hope and strive for the better days. And things will hopefully turn out well. All the best goes to you, your wife and your family =)
