Flashcards vs. Practice
Are the practice sessions weighted more heavily than just using the flashcards? Finished the Spanish tree a few months ago and then let it lapse; was using the flashcards to move back up the tree, but noticed that does not move the progress meter (percentage fluent and level).
I think the practice sessions are more effective. They move up the progress meter. People can cheat when using flashcards, however practice sessions can't be cheated on. Therefore your fluency percentage and level is more likely to move up by practice sessions.
Yup, seems to. Flashcards will regild a unit because you've been exposed to the words, but practice is more objective (you can't round yourself up to "right"). You also don't get XP for flashcards.
