I need somebody who knows Spanish to help :)
Hey guys. I'm writing this because I need help for a topic about Spanish.
QUESTION: What does "a" and "de" means? Do they have multiple meanings?
I hope you understand my sentences. Waiting your answers, thank u...
The "a" is a very naughty word... it means "to", basically
Voy a mi casa = I go to my house
But it may appear in other sentences, meaning different things, and sometimes it's not translated:
Voy a ver a mi hermana = I'm going to see my sister [the two "a"s aren't translated] Conoceré al delfin (a + el = al) = I will meet the dolphin [again, it's not translated]
But I can't tell you the grammar of the "a"... because I don't know it ;( It's my native language so I don't know grammar things like that
And "de" means from or 's:
La casa de Juan = Juan's house Vengo de Paris = I come from Paris
If you have doubts, feel free to ask me [but if you have grammar doubts, I won't be able to answer... just give me a sentence and I'll tell you if it's ok or not]
Omg 234 streak ur amazing and ur learning a lot of languages! i literally just said this so someone just like you!
When I started I had a 1 day streak and I was level 1 in 1 language... ;D [actually level 9 because I took a placement test in English]
well very very thank you. I have no doubts for now. If I have I'll ask u :)))
I don't understand, what does the word "indent" mean?
press "enter" and in the same moment the "shift"-button then you get a normal enter.
this gray line appear by many - minus signs
Well "a" means in most circumstances means "to" and "de" means "of" like yo voy a la casa de mi amigo, I go to the house of my friend. Does that help?
