"Daran habe ich Freude."

It's annoying that "it gives me pleasure" is accepted but "it brings me pleasure" isn't . Both are English idioms and neither is a direct translation of the German.

Also, 'it brings me pleasure' sounds more natural. 'it gives me pleasure' has sexual connotations, which i'm sure wouldn't be translated with 'Freude'.

Can this be translated to: "That pleasures me" ?

Um, "that pleasures me" would have sexual connotations. "Pleasure" is not usually used as a verb otherwise.

Maybe, "That pleases me"

I take pleasure in that?

That's also an acceptable translation.
