Is there a difference between "genelde" and "genellikle"?

Not really. They are about the same :)

I'm no scholar in the Turkish language or anything but I think it would be like comparing "in general" to "generally" Genelde= genel+de ('de' is the suffix for "in") That's just what I think though...I might be wrong here...

Whats the difference ?

I thought the same too. Genelde sounds like a generally cognate. We might also be wrong here.

Is this about the general public age group or a specific set of children

Hello

"Genelde çocuklar süt içer." Translation: Usually children drink milk.

Is this about the general public age group or a specific set of children

Please don't look into it too deeply. A stereotype maybe that children usually behave in a certain way in their drinking habits as defined by adults.

Thank you.
