Hi everyone,

I started long ago, but after keeping a 61 day streak and doing the exercises I finally completed the Spanish tree!

Si, muy palabras y gramática, pero hablar es difícil aún.

Good job! Have you been able to keep your tree golden? Near the end I had to let them all fade. I then returned to my faded tree and did it all again. I found it very rewarding to see just how much better I knew the material.

Yeah, every day I start by making the tree gold again before doing a new lesson. The streak also helps with that. I'm planning to keep it golden.

If you're looking to add more vocabulary, try Memrise. I've found this course to have the best format, plus audio

http://www.memrise.com/course/248520/5000-top-spanish-words-with-audio/

You'll know about 1500 words from Memrise. Another 1000 or so will feel familiar from their link to English. That means you can move at a decent speed.

You can start it now and it will be a big confidence booster. Since it's only vocabulary the difficulty is low. Set a goal of 5 words a day and it will reinforce what you know while adding related words.

True, I was procrastinating by saying that earlier wasn't I, my damn brain. I will start it, TONIGHT! thanks again!

Hi Silent-Hill, I don't know if you already know of it or not but there is a vocab course on memrise based on the duolingo vocab. I find it very helpful. http://www.memrise.com/course/342610/duolingo-spanish-vocabulary-incomplete/

No, I didn't know, however thanks to you I have now subscribed to it. I am subscribed to that and also Beyond Beginner's Spanish (A2). Do you recommend any more?

I have only taken very basic courses so I can't personally recommend others that may be more on your level. However, I can recommend taking a look at this user, who has created a very nice and diverse collection of brief courses targeting specific topics. I'm sure you'll find at least a few interesting or useful :) http://www.memrise.com/user/OliviaZavala/courses/teaching/

what does finishing the tree mean?

https://www.duolingo.com/Silent-Hill

The tree is the GRAPH, or CHART that we are completeing, the buttons and icons you click for lessons. It's called a tree because it has branches like a tree.

Thank you. How many total levels are there?
