Ma cuillère est trop grande !
I wasn't feeling terribly into things today and had procrastinated in doing my lessons in duolingo. By the time that I fired up my web browser and started looking at the lesson on adverbs, I was seriously considering using a streak freeze. Still, somehow I managed to read on and that's when I saw << Ma cuillère est trop grande ! >>, "My spoon is too big!", given as an example of adverb use. It's the silly things like this that make duolingo so much fun to use and are the reason that I've been able to keep up my streak and actually learn a thing or two about French. Thanks to duolingo, I can confidently say, je suis une banane !
P.S. If you have never seen Don Hertzfeldt's animated short "Rejected," then I highly recommend it unless you aren't particularly into absolutely hilarious nonsense.
"Yes, I want to live, I want to die in the North" - OMG, I just died (in the North). :D And I got "He lives in an apple" in French once. :D Not mentioning "The men are writing in the sugar" in Italian.
And oh, today I got "the cook cooks a snake" in Italian. "Italian food is just pizza and pasta" they said. :D
