Duolingo Team: Bug potentially stemming from fix mistake?

I am NOT in the group of people that is testing the fix mistake option.

However I have noticed that if I click into my sentence after it has been checked already, I can actually re-type what I have written (essentially fix my mistake). I guess I should not be able to do this, as it will mess up your results on the efficiency of this new feature (I would not be an actual control group!).

Anyways, I will try to resist the temptation to fix my sentences, but I thought you might want to know about this!

Same thing here.

My lessons this week have not been at all pleasant. Screen freezes, does not allow me to go forward. Fix me doesn't show me the correct answer - takes twice the time it was taking before. As enchanted as I once was, "fix my mistake" has ruined the experience for me.

Problem fixed for me.

Oh, some I'm your little white mouse, eh, Duolingo? Kidding. The only problem I have with it is that when I do fix a mistake, sometimes I am write and forget to report it. Should there be some way to report former answers on the same question, then?
