What is easier to learn?

Spanish or English??? Well, my native language is English but I still have troubles with speaking and spelling some of the words because our grammar is so difficult. I started taking Spanish 1 year ago and I realized that it's pretty dang easy. So, in my opinion, I think Spanish is easier. What about you guys??

I'm not a native in either of those languages, and from my learning experience English grammar is easier than Spanish, but Spanish spelling and pronunciation is clearer for me. I suppose it also depends on everyone's personal point of view.

I think Spanish, especially because English pronunciation is a real nightmare whereas Spanish spelling is largely phonemic. It makes speaking it easier.

I think Spanish spelling is certainly easier -- words actually sound the way they look! Masculine and feminine words can be tough to adjust to if you're coming from a language like English that doesn't have them, though.

I don't think that spanish is easier than english. I think if you want to learn good a language first you have to speak perfectly your native language. Take the english course first, then you can try with the spanish ^^ And trust me, spanish grammar is harder.

In some ways, Spanish is easier, in other ways, English is clearer. For example, it makes more sense to use Spanish grammatical structure in some instances (The steak, red, huge as opposed to The huge red steak in English), but, sometimes I find Spanish full of filler words that aren't necessary to the comprehension of the sentence ( January 11, 2001 vs de 11 de enero de 2001).
