It reminded me of Ylvis' Intelevator... one of the videos I watched like 200 times :D

For the listening exercise: In the normal speed version it seemed to me that she is saying "Går DEN heisen opp eller ned?" - Is this sentence correct/natural? In the slowed down version it is clear "Går heisen opp eller ned?".

I also hear a d sound here. Not necessarily den, but definitely something that shouldn't be there.

Isn't it just the tapped r sound?

"Går den heisen opp eller ned" = "Is that elevator going up or down"

The audio is not perfect, but I can't hear 'den'.

Thank you :) It will get clearer when my ear is trained I hope!

You could also "den" if you are pointing at "that" elevator..

You can never tell: it's the Heisen Uncertainty Principle.
