Hello everyone, Why do some adjectives like petit and bon come in front of the noun and others after it?Also how can one distinguish between the adjectives which come before the noun and those which come after?Can anyone pls give me a list of widely used adjectives that come before the noun?Thanks in advance!!

By the way, a little hint. To reply to a specific (it seems to me it was the case here) comment you can use the "Reply" button/link just under the comment (between the arrows, on its left, and the time since comment was made, on its right) you want to reply to.

here are the adjectives that stand before a noun: bon, mauvais, grand, petit, beau, jolie, jeune, vieux, vrai, faux, gros, nouveau, ancien, premier, dernier.
