On the Ukrainian program, I keep getting told I have a typo, where there is none. Here, the word was "довідка " that was underlined, but written the same as the example.

The last letter of "довідкa" is Latin "a" and not Cyrillic "а".

Is it correct: "Do you know where is an information booth?"?

No, it would be incorrect. However you could say "Do you know where there is an information booth?" or more colloquially "Do you know where there's an information booth?" and that would be perfectly acceptable.
