I was wondering if Duolingo is really interested in the ideas of other users and stuff. I noticed that this site is more like a country ..... the inhabitants are only within the territory, which they become famous because they are entrepreneurs and incredible, though not entirely, but they have neither voice nor note about what happens in the country!

I've read many amazing ideas everywhere in this website!

What are yours?, what do you think about this post, that Duolingo team won't read?

I think the staff probably reads some of them. They need a good laugh now and then.

Yes the Duolingo team reads posts. All of them? I doubt it, there's a lot of spam and trolls. I doubt they're reading the numerous posts requesting the same languages.

Tip: If you want to speed your Spanish, watch/listen to a bunch of telenovelas. Well, if you can stomach them. You'll hear many basic words repeated over and over.

They should pay attention to requests of new languages! this website is for learning languages, isn't it? I don't know why I care so much!

They do.

Go to your favorite search engine. Luis Von Ahn conducted two AMA (Ask Me Anything) sessions on reddit. He answered many concerns about adding new languages.

They may do, but, they probably cannot add languages when people request them. There is probably lots of work involved in adding new languages, and they may only be able to work on some at a time.

Someone asked a similar question a short while ago

Conclusion: Yes, they do look at the forums from time to time

My impression is that they focus more on the results of data from A/B tests.

Yes they do, in fact I've seen some moderators post a lot on the site.

It would be cool if they had some sort of blog in order to update us on what is going on with new additions to the website.
