Accents hard to see

It is very difficult to see whether or not an "i" is accented. Could you use larger accent marks or even better use colored accent marks?

I agree, but, I think this may be a common phenomenon outside of duoLingo. I find it difficult to visually distinguish "Maria" from "María" in general, so I generally just guess based on context (that is, I expect an accent there in a Spanish context, and expect not in an English context).

I agree with RayEston, it's almost impossible to differentiate and when your eyes are older like mine, it makes it even more difficult. It would be nice to make it easier while we are learning ... just sayin'

It would be great to be able to see the accents!

I am happy that there is no penalty for leaving them out, but I think I could become very lazy with them.

I completely agree - make them larger or blue, or whatever color - we are trying to learn so it is irrelevant that in the real world it will be different.
