Translation:Solgte han sin egen sjel?

What an unnatural way to express this sentence.. Grammatically correct and all obviously, but I doubt anyone would speak like that? Or are we just too unsophisticated in Northern Norway?


I guess you could change the wording around slightly and say it like:

'Solgte han sjelen/sjela si?'. (did he sell his soul?).

Dropping the 'egen'/'own' part, since it is kinda redundant anyway. Unless this fellow had multiple souls that weren't his, of course.


As Dr. Brennan would have said, "I don't know what that means".

I can tell it is from harry potter, but that's it.. : P
