Why doesn't "hunden ligger i gulvet" work?
That would be like saying "the dog is lying inside the actual floor".
That reminds me of this weird video on youtube called "This house has people in it"
But that was an actual question earlier...hunden ligger på gulvet?
Why isn't the floor gulveter?
A floor = et gulv
The floor = gulvet (gulv + et)
Can "på" be used as "on" or "by"?
