What can I do to prevent this from happing again?

You can help us figure out why this happens :) How often does it happen to you?

Every time, mainly when I am on the phone! I have not seen any exercise where at the end of this the page/program freeze!

Ahhh! Sometimes, I also have to redo the exercises because it just stop! ☻☻☻ i really hate that!!!

I have the same problem. Since about two weeks ago (before I didn't try, because i was on a duolingo-pause ;)) it almost never works. In this time I had three lessons that finished just the way they should, all the others just froze at the end and I had to open a new tab to continue using duolingo. It also happened on different browsers

Edit: i'm only using the web version, if that's important ;) Oh and just wanna say, that else, i'm very happy with duolingo ;)

Thanks for the screenshots, Affenschaukel, which have helped us a great deal. We were able to unblock your progress, but are still working on a general solution.

What browser are you using?

Currently Firefox 39.0.3

Before I tried with Firefox 39.0 and also with epic privacy browser (I'm not sure which version of it though, but if needed, i could check that later)

Can you do me a favor: before starting a lesson, could you open the Web Console (In Tools->Web Developer->Web Console). Then do the lesson with the console open, and if the lesson fails at the end, please take a screenshot of the failed lesson along with the console. This screenshot will let us determine the cause.
