I just came across this site after reading a few recommendations. :) And I checked, they have Pippi Långstrump episodes like Luscinda suggested.

Someone once send me this:

It's a bit dull but it is directed at children so easy to understand

Pippi Långstrump?

I actually find Pippi Långstrump quite hard to understand for being a kids' program. We watched some episodes on YouTube, and my 3-year-old (who is a Swedish native speaker!!) asked me which language they were speaking... It also contains some nonsense words made up by the author, as well as some 1960s slang. Later, when we watched it on DVD with better sound quality and the volume turned up, he was able to understand it and enjoy it.

I'd recomment simpler things to start with for a learner, like Stadens hjältar or Mumin (although the latter is of course in a Finnoswedish dialect, which might be clearer to a learner but maybe not the one one wants to pick up).

Watching anything the OP already knows the story line of might also be a good idea.
