I hope I'm not mistaken, but when it asked me to translate this sentence from English into Norwegian, "resultatet" (definite form) was marked as a mistake. Which form is correct? Or are both possible?

"Prosjektet er resultatet av mange års [forskning/undersøkelse]." are the current accepted translation from ENG->NOR. Maybe you had a typo?
