Why does Duolingo consider the translation "a local museum" wrong? After all they suggest it themselves, and it is more natural than "municipal".

They suggest it because municipal, sometimes, can be translated as local. But in this case, at least in Spanish, " museo local and museo municipal" is not the same.

Museo local= It is a museum located in the town

Museo municipal= It is a museum that belongs to the town

How about "city museum"? Honestly, I've never heard about "municipal museum".
